Jacob Bendix works with FLSmidth for 10 years, and holds a Master degree in Science, with a focus on International Technology Management.
Jacob has been working with air pollution control in the FLSmidth Airtech Division, including fabric filters and electrostatic precipitators for many different industrial segments. Today, Jacob is focusing entirely on the pulp and paper industry, working with sales of APC solutions within this segment – to end clients as well as to Pulp and Paper OEM’s.
Jacob is available for talks within the field of air pollution control, ranging from minor upgrades to full turnkey projects.

Uncovering the Full Potential of ESPs in the Pulp & Paper Industry


There are many options to enhance the performance of existing electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) in the Pulp & Paper Industry. We will describe a few options highlighting the advantages of each solution. These solutions range from low cost improvements that will not interfere with plant production, to projects that require a temporary plant outage in order to upgrade the existing ESP by installing additional collection area. We present attractive solutions using proprietary technology developed by the Air Pollution Control unit of FLSmidth which has proven performance in the Pulp & Paper Industry.
